Isn't it odd, in reality...

This is from personal experience with other people. But it is really an event that occurs in all corners of human experience. At the diplomatic summit and between two bums in a grubby alley... We start and stop giving ('paying') attention. If presidents and secretaries and kings knew what the other nation a the table was doing while they rambled on, they would not let wars break out. But its a brutal reality that blood shed has been inevitable because we don't know what the other folks are thinking, but worse that we could have done so much better if we just noted the visible signs of the attention given by our partners in communication. (and Yes I'm as guilty of this as everybody else)

When your on the phone and in the midst of the (usually an argument) conversation the other party hangs up, its counted as rude. I've been more or less (emotionally) assaulted because I've done that on more than one occasion. When somebody "cuts you off" in conversation its commonly labeled "rude." And depending on the context it can be. But lets get it right that if the other party has already rejected or ignored your ideas or words when they 'walk out' they are only being honest enough to show you what you have failed to see for yourself. Now not withstanding the fact that an opponent will show you they have stopped listening just to give abuse, it becomes clearer why things are so as they are. But the next time somebody hangs up on you, or walks out on the conversation, put your passions down, reason may help a little then, but the power of submission and obedience is the only resource God has offered to request His assistance.

2 Corinthians 12:9
