I mean the kind using english, even complete sentenses.
A spot (not much more) of EYE contact even.
I don't think even in Heaven communication will have be come outdated. Though I should think the definition could very easily change. After all it is commonly thought that heaven is where the dead go. In fact the only real living going on is in heaven, and the questions of who is and isn't alive are problems for the terrestrial world/universe.

Seeing both sides...
On the left is Gideon who puts out a fleece. He wants reassurances, comfort on one level... But to walk by sight on another...
then examine
Ruth and Boaz, (let's not leave out Naomi) The two women have a need, they go make an effort to have it met. But in another setting the approach on Mr. Boaz may have been a great deal less reasonable, ethical even... Its in the scriptures for our instruction, correction, etc... The need is great, they are (apparently) fearful...

neither an example of human excellence, both examples of God's mercy. But we move the analogy around, and make them simultaneous there's a bigger problem. (This is an application, they aren't simultaneous, any claim that it actually happened to these folks this way would be an anachronism)

Imagine if you will that Ruth is also Gideon, putting out a fleece of sorts. She wants to know that Boaz is acceptable/ suitable/ reliable/ etc... She wants to see the man's character, or she wants Naomi to judge him... Well if He sees it coming he's likely to be offended or at least frustrated. Ok NEVER MIND ABOUT HOW Boaz FEELS!!

HOW IS GOD GLORIFIED BY SUCH A MESS? How can God give the increase, He's being coerced into blessing, manipulated like some kind of faucet for favors. Did I design this thing? How did this happen? IT'S A DISASTER! CEASE AND DESIST. There's another way, and if there isn't this current circumstance is unacceptable.

Oh, well thanks, I sure do love the reversal. Why don't [you] keep it up, see what kind of reward it earns [you.] Philippians 4:5 is displayed in my life on a day to day basis, I'd speculate about the percent of the time...
